Ironwood Renovations is a family-owned residential renovation and carpentry company serving Elizabeth City and the surrounding communities.
Founded by Jon Cogan, Ironwood is built on more than 15 years of hands-on experience in carpentry, residential construction, exterior improvements, decks, repairs, and renovation work.
After years in the trades, Jon wanted to create a company where quality came before shortcuts and where homeowners could expect clear communication, thoughtful workmanship, and work that is meant to hold up long after the project is finished.
Today, Ironwood combines hands-on construction experience with design support, project coordination, and a family-run approach to customer service. Whether the project is a deck transformation, exterior improvement, repair, or larger renovation, the goal remains the same: do the work carefully, communicate clearly, and build something worth being proud of.
